SF Trip 09...

Sooo my trip to San Francisco was super fun, eventful and even a lil relaxing.

I stayed with my sister, brother-in-law and my lil nephews for the first night... soooo much fun.

Worked at Everlasting Tattoo on Divisadero on Sun and Mon...
That shop is packed with so much talent and art. Everyone there is super nice and talented.
Got a lil crazy with Mike D and Doug at dinner after we left the shop on Sun.
Did a couple small lil' tatters on Mon.

Took a break on Tues and saw the city... Below is the view from Twin Peaks...
David Lynch whaaaaaaa...

Picked up some new Rebel 8 threads... They have a pretty rad spot.
Went around the entire Golden Gate Park. Stopped in at the Conservatory of Flowers.

Went down the windy part of Lombard St... I even ate at the Stinking Rose...

Man I felt sorry for my client the next day... I reeked of garlic.
Ended my site seeing day by checkin out Giant's Rollin High show at the Medicine Agency.
The show was packed...
Caught this flick on my walk the next day... Its a piece by Henry, Grime, Yutaro and Lango...

You have to see this in person to fully appreciate it.
The next two days I worked with my friend Derik Montez over at Haight Ashbury Tattoo.

Did a couple small tatters and had great time hangin with Derik.
Everyone at that shop is super nice and talented.

Kicked it with Giant at Skullz Press for a bit. Muchas gracias.
Had a couple beers at the Toronado Bar with a friend...

...got on a plane Fri morning at 9am and left to go back home...
... man I missed my wife/best friend. Good to be back home. I will be back SF...
...You've been warned.

So much to be thankful for...

So glad to be alive in good health and working.
Alot has been going on, in every sense, in the last couple of weeks.
Started a few big pieces, cleaned up my portfolio, went to a funeral, spent time with family I haven't seen in a very long time, had an amazing Thanksgiving and today I'm packing for my trip to San Fran.

My client Annie took this flick of me tattooin' her boyfriend Matt.
They moved to Utah. I wish them the best.

I did this piece on Annie the week before. It's from a Thomas Hooper painting.

This was a piece I free-handed on Eric's kneecap.
Drawn on with sharpie then tattooed. He sat like a champ.

Started this back piece on one of the best human beings on the face of this earth.
It's going to be a Black n grey piece.

Started this piece on my client Greg.

This is a big sticker I had made for my working trip to SF.
It has my dates at the shops I'm working at during my stay and an image I painted a couple of months ago.
I am still booking appointments out in SF.
Hit me back at shelltoon@gmail.com if you are looking to get tattooed then.

I definitely need to get back to painting more. Been slackin'. That shall soon change.
